Condolences
I really admired her love of life, family, and her take no prisoners card playing skills! She was part of the greatest generation and totally lived that title. All my love to Mary Ellen and her family,
Dear Koury Family, You have my heartfelt sympathy. I liked your mother. She was one tough lady. She knew her mind and she spoke her mind. I’m sure she’s stirring things up and getting things organized right now! If children are reflections of their parents, you reflect some pretty terrific qualities and values. You are all good people. You are hard working, honest, responsible, dependable people. You are compassionate and caring. Your mother was as fortunate to have you for children as you were to have her as a parent. I was impressed with her ability to have an independent and personal relationship with each of you. When she needed you for support and caring over these past years and months, you each have walked to the plate and hit home runs. She has a lot to be proud of.
From all of the Wittmans a heartfelt sorrow at the loss of Aunt Marge. She was an inspiration to us all and a very great lady. There are so many memories from her playing cards (and cheating a little) with us to helping us buy the old Fischer Family home, to the great family picnics. She will be greatly missed by all.
