Obituary of Carole Scott

Carole Ann Scott, 63, of Freehold passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She was a life-long resident of Freehold With dreams of Broadway, Carole was an avid reader everything including screenplays and was a former member of the South Street Players and performer at the Tree Top Theater. She also served as a member of the Freehold Borough Elks Lodge. Carole enjoyed gardening, the beach, traveling to Tortola British Virgin Island, and picking through the best auctions for antiques. As the life of the party, she enjoyed making those around her laugh. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren playing cards and taking them to the movies. She is survived by her children, Shannon Bertone and her husband, Michael of Freehold, Jonathan Scott and his wife, Jessica of Long Island, and Heather Lubrano and Joseph of Jackson; and her beautiful grandchildren Mia Bertone, Jonathan Jackson Scott, Gio Lubrano, Brooke Bertone, Addison Scott, Layla Lubrano and Anderson Scott. A receiving of friends will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
