Obituary of Philip Lisa

Philip J. Lisa, Jr., 64, of Jackson passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2016 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell. Phil was born, raised and had lived in Jersey City before settling in Jackson thirty years ago. Along with his family, he worked at Betty Brite Cleaners, Marlboro and then opened La Ritz Cleaners, Wall Township with his wife. More recently, Phil opened his own business, Philip's Carpet Cleaning, Jackson. He was an avid Giants fan and enjoyed cutting the grass. He loved to sing and everyone looked forward to Uncle Phil calling with their birthday song. Phil was predeceased by his father, Philip Lisa, and his sister, Lucille A. Miller. He is survived by his wife, Patty Lisa, of Jackson; his faithful canine companion, Mona; three godchildren who he helped raise, Kevin Kletke of Freehold Township, Michael Kletke, of Jackson and Kristina Kletke, of Greenville, NC; his mother, Caroline Lisa, of Jackson; his sister, Annie Alexis of Freehold Township; his in-laws, Ronald and Patricia Lukach, of Marlboro; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9:30 AM on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the funeral home for the procession to his 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Gabriel's Historic Church, Route 520, Marlboro.
