Condolences
Dearest Betty Ann, Lynda, Tommy, Matt, and families, It is with heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I send prayers and sympathy on the death of our beloved Ira. I was honored to be loved by and to love Meany Green Legs. Great man. Love to all, Ginny
Ira and I were born on the same day on January 17, 1941. We met in grade school and have remained friends for over 60 years even though our paths took different directions. I've always felt close to Ira and will miss him very much. I was getting ready to call for our birthday when I read his obituary in the paper and was greatly saddened. He was, indeed, a very special soul and will be greatly missed by all who knew him, we spent some great times as kids target practicing, hanging out and getting into mischief. My heart goes out to Betty and their children who loved him dearly.
Lynda, we are all so very sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
With heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your beloved father. Prayers going up for comfort and strength as you face each new day.
Lynda and family, So sorry for your loss
Lynda & Family, I was stunned to read Donald's post about your father. His strength and perseverance in the recent years has been inspiring to anyone facing health challenges. In reading about your father's life and his passions, I see so many of his qualities passed on to you and your kids and I am honored to have known him through you. I can only imagine the lives your father has touched in how he applied his gifts to the world from being a Scoutmaster, to a restorer of history to a pillar of the community. I am so sorry for your loss. Hugs to your family.
L"Y"nda, I was so very sorry when I head about the passing of your Dad. I have many memories of your Dad from being at GC with you and my trip up Easter weekend '90. May God's peace and comfort help you through this time. God Bless you my friend! Love you!
One of the most interesting kind and genuine men I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Let us not mourn his passing but revel in the colorful memories created by this great man. My condolences to the Glenn family who continue Ira's legacy of kindness and giving. Truer hearts do not exist. Love to you all. Michael
