Obituary of Stephen Deveney

Stephen J. "Skip" Deveney, 61, of Howell Township passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at AcuteCare Specialty Hospital at Kimball, Lakewood. Skip was born in Trenton and lived in Allentown before moving to Howell Township in 1997. He was a mechanic of heavy machinery for Bill Jim Construction, Jackson. Skip was predeceased by his parents, Joseph H. and Juanita A. Deveney; and his father-in-law, Rene Thonnard. He is survived by his wife, Annette Deveney of Howell Township; two sons, Joseph Mannifield of Hamilton and Stephen Deveney, Jr. and his girlfriend, Julia Illiano of Howell; a daughter, Pamela Colon and her husband, Michael of Florida; three grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Colleen Thonnard of Howell Township; two sisters, Dottie Clark of Cream Ridge and Margaret "Nugget" O'Brien of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
