Obituary of Nicholas Kopko

Nicholas S. Kopko, 71, of Howell Township passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Nicholas was born and raised in Newark before moving to Howell Township 26 years ago. He was a shipping clerk for Deleet Merchandising Corp, Newark retiring 15 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Joan Kopko of Howell Township; three daughters, Lisa Sewell and Nicole Gurba both of Gretna, LA and Melanie Spano of Marrero, LA; a grandson, Nicholas Boyd; and four granddaughters, Coral Joon Gurba, Jewell Dai Gurba, Sophia Sewell and Madison Spano. A receiving of friends will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 12 Noon to 2:30 PM with his memorial service to follow at 2:30 PM.
