Obituary of John Frins

John B. Frins, 86, of Jackson, died Sunday, Nov. 2 at Care One at Jackson. Mr. Frins was born in New York City and had lived in Waldwick before moving to Jackson in 1997. He was a tool and die maker for Selis and Carroll, Waldwick, before retiring in 1986. He was predeceased by his wife, Genevieve, in 2004 and two sisters, Caroline Frins and Margaret Stark. He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, John J. and Janet Frins of Irvington and Peter R. Frins of Seaside Heights; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Jeff Friedman of Millstone Twp.; six grandchildren, Michael, Erik, Amy, Kali, Erik and Eva; four great-grandchildren, Allison, Juaquin, Michael and Lexi; and one nephew, Robert Stark. All services were private. Interment was in Mary Rest Cemetery, Mahwah.
