Obituary of William Schue

William T. Schue, 69, of Farmingdale, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, at home. Mr. Schue was born in Howell and was a lifelong resident of Farmingdale. He was a member of the West Farms United Methodist Church, Howell. Mr. Schue was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was also a member and former chief of the Farmingdale Fire Department. He was a park ranger for the Monmouth County Park System for 32 years, retiring in 2001, as a senior park ranger. He was an avid fisherman usually seen on the Manasquan Inlet Jetty. Surviving are his wife, Carol Schue; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Robert Winston of Howell, and Beth Ann and Peter Mortenson of Brick; a sister, Doris Stillwell of Holmdel; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Schue of Howell; and two granddaughters, Abigail and Melissa Winston. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
