Obituary of William Cea
William G. Cea, 60, of Freehold Township died Friday, Nov. 21 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Cea was born in the Bronx and had lived in Freehold Township for 22 years after moving from Staten Island. He was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. He was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity at Monmouth University. Mr. Cea was a telecommunications technician at Merrill-Lynch in Manhattan from 1972 until his retirement in December 2001.
He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Sam J. Palmieri in October. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Palmieri of Freehold Township; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Jennifer Cea of Howell; one daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Sean Brand of Lakehurst; one grandson, Sean Brand, Jr.; parents, Dominick and Mary Cea of Columbus; one sister and her husband, Barbara and Thom Ramos of Sylvania, Ohio; three nephews, Christopher Lina Ramos, Mark Ramos and Andrew and Elaini Palmieri; one brother-in-law and his wife, Charles and Barbara Palmieri of Freehold Township; and his mother-in-law, Marie Palmieri of Freehold Township.
Visiting will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal, followed by his 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
