Wendy, Michael and Family - We are so very sad to hear about your Dad's sudden passing. Our thoughts are with all of you. We hope memories of him and times you spent together bring some comfort at this very difficult time. Judy, Med, Darrell and Laura
I am Louie one of Steve's barefoot brothers from Kentucky. The grass is blue. I visited New Jersey every year with my Mom and was always excited to see Steve and the gang. He never failed to ask me were are my shoes. haha.
The family and Steve always made sure we were taken care of. My last visit Steve said get the the car. He headed to the shore. It was March and cold but he knew I alwyas wanted to at least set foot on the beach. God Bless him. Steve finished our last trip with a surprise birthday party for my mom who was 90.She too is now gone but the memories remain. Thanks you and God Bless Louie Vasseur
Linda and Steve are our Special Friends! For me (Judy), Linda, Steve and I shared memories of Grammar School and High School. I laugh at the memory of one day at Freehold High School in the borough when Steve was in my English Class. The classrom was in the basement and windows were just above the lawn. The windows didn't have storm windows or screens. Steve sat in a seat by the window and I was on the other side of him. One snowy day I had to make a presentation in front of the class and, when I came back to my seat, I found a big lump of snow on my seat! There sat Steve looking at the ceiling with his big innocent smile but his eyes twinkled as he denied doing it! I always said Steve was the Big Brother I never had! - When I met my husband Bill, the four of us shared many fun moments. We shared in the arrivals of our Children and Grandchildren! We enjoyed weddings and barbecues and boat rides and graduation celebrations and riding golf carts through the Graga fields and woods! And we always enjoyed the delicious vegetables Linda and Steve would send home with us in the Summer! -- We have lost a very special friend but thankfully we can look back and know that Steve enjoyed life as he shared smiles, jokes and laughter with those he met. Our prayers for peace and comfort are sent to God for Linda and their entire family. - With Love, Judy and Bill Fraser
Our Condolences to the entire Graga family, Mark and I were SO saddened to hear of this sudden loss, words cannot express it. Know that you all remain in our prayers and if there is anything we can do, just reach out. Love to you all. -Jennifer
Dear Linda and Family, so sorry to hear about Steve's passing. We had worked together for over 30 years. He always had a wonderful out look on life. Always with the smile and time to talk. During "apple" time we always received a big basket of delicious apples to enjoy, that was Steve, always sharing stories and good food. May God bless your family during this time. Bob Dick
Steve walked into our class at Ardena school for the first time. He was introduced to the class being he was a new student. Big guy. Blonde. Smiling as he always was. Strolled over to Linda sitting next to me in the front row. Leaned down and said to the beautiful and shy Linda, 'some day I'm going to marry you!' She turned bright red, of course. He pursued her from that point on. One of the nicest guys EVER. Many years together proved him to be true to his word! Steve took care of his family. He'll never be forgotten. Great guy.
So sad in finding out Steve passed. My thoughts went immediately to Linda. Such a love story!! Steve will be missed by many people. He won't be forgotten. Prayers to Linda and his family. Respectfully, Karen
We have known each other every since High School and some of our double dates in his Corvair. You both have been good friends and we will miss him.. Steve will always be in our heart. He did always have a smile on his face.
Love John and Sue
