My heart is heavy with sadness at this time as I learned this morning that Mrs. Grasty was called to heaven to begin a new life with her maker. From 1994-2007, I had the honor of supporting James Grasty as his Administrative Assistant for 13 years at GSK. On many occasions, I had the utmost pleasure of speaking to Mrs. Grasty when she would call to speak to her son. She had such a sweet voice and I always looked forward to our chats. We talked about everything and we always ended up laughing and then James would come out of his office and I realized why she called! Over the years, we became best friends and she would always ask me very quietly, "How is Keith doing, is he ok"? My response was always the same, I would tell her stories of what he accomplished at work, and how everyone loved him! And, what a great job she did in raising him. Sometimes there was a brief silence, and then she would always thank me for reassuring her that her son was doing well! What a beautiful woman, who led a beautiful life! Her son James is a testament to her life, and I truly miss those times we all had together, it went by quickly. I would like to extend my most sincere condolences to the entire Grasty Family, especially, James, Angelina, Madison & Kairys. Willie Mae Grasty, you will always be remembered as a soft spoken, passionate, & caring person and thank you for raising a son that I know you were so proud of!
Love with Kisses and Hugs to the Grastys, Kathy Allen
