Obituary of Eleanor Worek

Eleanor L. Worek, 73, of Freehold Township, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 16, 2016. Eleanor was born, raised, and had lived in Philadelphia. She then moved to Huntingdon Valley, PA before settling to Freehold Township in 2007. Eleanor was a Registered Nurse for Frankford Hospital and then worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield, both in Philadelphia. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, putting together puzzles, playing board games and pinochle. Eleanor was an avid reader and a fan of Sci-fi. Eleanor is survived by her three children, Lorraine Swabb of Bradenton, FL, Lisa Anne Byrne and her husband, Thomas of Freehold Township, NJ, and Victor C. Worek and his wife, Jessica of Abington, PA; seven grandchildren, Sean Byrne, Abigail Byrne, Madeline Byrne, Amy Worek, Joseph Worek, Kevin Worek, and Matthew Worek; a brother, Joseph Krohn of Maryland; a sister, Regina Krohn of Philadelphia; a sister-in-law, Winifred Krohn of Huntingdon Valley, PA; nephew, Edward Krohn; and nieces, Jennifer Johnson and Emily Krohn. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
