Obituary of Thomas LaFalce

Thomas J. LaFalce, Jr. 27, of Howell passed away at home on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. TJ was born in Hackensack and was a lifelong resident of Howell. A graduate of Freehold Township High School Class of 2007, TJ was the captain of the winning Shore Conference Basketball team, the third time leading scorer with 1191 points and voted 1st team All Shore Conference player. He also played middle school soccer travel ball and was on the Central Jersey Hawks AAU basketball team. During high school, he worked at The Cabin and more recently as a laborer in home construction. He is predeceased by his father, Thomas J. LaFalce, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Catherine Haller; and his paternal grandparents, Dominick LaFalce and Philomena LaFalce. TJ is survived by his loving mother, Gail Cubberly and his stepfather, Bob Cubberly of Howell; his brother, Travis LaFalce of Howell; two sisters, Lisa Ensogna of Winchester, VA and Abigail LaFalce of Belmar; three nephews, Mason Reilly, Rocco Ensogna and Camden Ensogna; and his dog, Ripley. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at The Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.
