Condolences
Wendy and Family.....my deepest condolences. Tom was a wonderful boss, and a great guy to work with. He sort of missed his calling as a great stand-up comedian. When I retired in 2000, he gave me such a great "roasting" that it brought the house down. Those who were similarly roasted by Tom will never forget his humor, and to keep himself from laughing, you could see his "tongue in cheek". I have always believed that "there is no such thing as death, as long as there are those who remember, and when there is no one left who remembers, it won't make any difference, because we will all be together again." Having said that all I can say is "See ya later Tom."
Casey and family- My condolences to you and your family. I heard through a friend who had been a student of your father. Although we worked together long ago, I never did meet him, but I see how people loved him and all the wonderful things that he accomplished. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Angela Greene

Dear Wendy and the Entire Antus Family. My family and I are all so sorry for your loss. Tom was a great friend to me and my family. He will be missed dearly. Bowling will not be the same. We have seen each other twice a week on the leagues at Howell Lanes, but most of all every Sunday (just for fun) for over 14 years. We had a lot of great/funny times and those memories will be with me forever. Tom was one of a kind. Rest in Peace my Friend.
My sincere condolences to the Antus family and friends. Tom was my 8th grade teacher, and was able to reach me before I chose the wrong road at that point in my life. He has always had my respect and was a great role model. I know his bowling exploits are well known, but you should have seen him play basketball in his prime, what a shooter!!! Rest in peace Tom...
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Tom. Although I didn't know him personally, I know from reading his beautifully written obituary, that he was a very giving, compassionate, loving and wonderful man who will be sadly missed by many. My heart goes out to all his family, especially his sister, Mary Kay who I had the privaledge of caring for her precious " gang " for many years. I will keep you all in my prayers! God Bless you all and may He keep you forever in His loving care.

So very Sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
My heartfelt condolences to the family of Tom Antus. I was a student of his at Eisenhower back in the early 70's. I still remember how he made social studies interesting and actually was able to get the class to take an active interest in current events. His influence is still evident in my life after over 40 years! He was an awesome teacher and a wonderful, caring man.
My heartfelt condolences and prayers to Thomas' family, Wendy, loved ones, friends and all who he touched.
A great teacher and good friend at Freehold Township
To the entire Antus family I'm terribly sorry for your loss... you all will continue to be in my prayers...May he RIP.
My sincere condolences to Wendy, my childhood friend and neighbor, and to all Tom's family and friends. Tom was my teacher, my brother Neil's coach and mentor, and later my late mother Maureen's friend and boss. He had an amazing way of pushing you towards your best self, and my time as his student had a profound impact on my work ethic as a student. He also provided our family with comfort, friendship, and guidance when we lost our dad very young and unexpectedly. Thank you Tom for your service to our youth, and to the Township of Freehold...you will always live fondly in my childhood memories; Rest in Eternal Peace.
So sorry for your loss. You are all in our thoughts.
On behalf of myself and all the employees of Millstone Township we want to express our most sincere sympathies to the entire Antus Family during this difficult time. Tom was part of the Millstone family for a little more than 2 years, but in that time was highly valuable and respected leader. Personally Tom seen me through my husband's illness and I will never forget all his compassion and encouragement.
So very sorry for your loss. Tom was a wonderful man. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet him.
TEA... You were the teacher in Mr. Holland's Opus. I hope you knew that. Thousands of kids called you their "Favorite teacher", "Mentor", "Coach", and if they were lucky, "Close friend". Your positive effect on this community is everlasting... and the ripples of inspiration, motivation and education you sent out will forever continue to improve the world in the hearts and minds of your students and friends. Staring at your picture this morning, I can't believe you're really gone, TEA. We were just talking about your wedding in July. Impossible to wrap our heads around this. I was very lucky to call you a teacher, a co-worker, a mentor, and a friend who was really family. Miss you already, brother. Thank you for 35 years of real friendship. Love you
To the entire Antus Family.....I am sorry to hear of the passing of Tom. It was a pleasure to work with him. May your memories help you through the days ahead.
I met Tom when I was hired as a police officer in 2002. I also bowled in the town league at Howell Lanes for a few seasons. One heck of a bowler for sure he was. To his family sorry for your loss, I know what it's like. Just lost my dad at age 67 as well. Rip.
