Obituary of Andrew Beres

Andrew F. Beres, 86, of Howell passed away peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Andy was born in Linden and was a lifelong Howell resident having moved there in the 1950s. He was an electrician for Sunshine Biscuits in Piscataway and a former parishioner of St. Veronica's Catholic Church, Howell. An avid fisherman and handyman, Andy was also an animal lover. More than anything, he treasured his grandchildren. Andy was predeceased by his son, Glen A. Beres in 2012 and his wife of 55 years, Marie Beres in April, 2016. He is survived by a son, Joseph Beres and his wife, Mary of Jackson; a daughter, Elizabeth Schwartz and her husband, Robert of Howell; and twelve grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon with his funeral service at 12:00.
