I just watched Popi on TCM what a great actor he was. I’m so sorry about his passing. Praying In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit , God be with his family

I grew up in East Harlem, one of my favorite movies was “POPI” they were auditioning kids in the neighborhood at the Boys Club on east 111 st. Tonight I decided to watch it and while doing so, I decided to see what the cast was up to and sadly learned of Miguel’s death. My condolences to his family and friends. Even now when I watch Popi he always looked like some kid from the neighborhood. R.I.P. Miguel

I am so sorry to hear of your passing. We were neighbors in the 1970-71. He had come to a party at my place and we shared a dance. I wondered about him for years. So sorry!

I saw him in Popi when I was young. We were the same age and I remember wishing we could be friends as children. I just watched Popi again good movies ,beautiful spirit

I first saw Miguel in the episode, ‘Fiesta’, in ‘The High Chaparral’. Always thought he had beautiful eyes. I am sorry to hear you’ve passed Miguel, and send my condolences, albeit belatedly, to your family and friends. Xx

Went to elementary school with Miguel, remembered when he got cast in 'Popi', ran into him once,when we were teenagers,on the subway, that was last time I saw him. Wondered what became of him like my other classmates, was sadden to find out he passed away. Condolences to his family.

Popi is one of my favorite movies ever. I have wondered so often what the 2 sons in the movie were doing now and I’m so sad to hear of Miguel’s passing.

I enjoyed watching High Chaparral, Season 4 Episode 10, which was filmed in 1970. It is now October of 2020, and I was captivated by his acting. I looked him up to see if he continued to act when he got older. What is very evident from the photos posted here, is that he was well loved from birth. My condolences to his family. He still lives on.
