Obituary of Linda Jeleniewski
Linda Mary Jeleniewski, age 56, died on Friday, Jan 2, 2009 at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood aftera long and courageous battle with Scleroderma. Linda was born in Jersey City and was raised in West New York, NJ and had lived in Belford before moving to Howell in 1998. She was a state certified child care provider, owning her own business for many years. Linda was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township.
She was predeceased by her father, James Salerno and a brother, Thomas Salerno. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Henry Jeleniewski, Jr., of Howell and her mother, Margaret Salerno of Howell. She is also survived by two brothers, James Salerno or N.C. and Gerard Salerno of Toms River; three sisters, Laura Gier of Freehold, Angelina Helm of Jackson, Cathy Wallin of Jackson as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Rd.(Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, Jan 6, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Relatives and friends may gather at 9:00a.m. on Wednesday, Jan 7, 2009 at the funeral home for the rite of committal followed by her 10:00a.m. funeral mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Linda may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Central Jersey Chapter, 740 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702 and would be appreciated.
