Obituary of Catherine Farry

Catherine F. Farry, 85, of Farmingdale, died on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009 at Meridian Subacute Rehab., Wall Twp. Mrs. Farry was born in Farmingdale and was a life-long resident of Farmingdale. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale, Farmingdale. She was a former member of the Farmingdale-Howell First Aid Ladies Auxiliary and the Farmingdale PTA. Catherine was a devoted wife, loving mother and a beloved Grandma. She was predeceased by her husband, William Edward, in 1999, and her sister, Mary Locher. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Corky Farry of Matawan; one daughter and her fiance, Carolyn S. Reid and Richard Dusch, of Farmingdale; and three grandchildren, Diane Farry, Elizabeth Farry and Steven Reid. Visiting at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, with Rev. Dr. Wayne Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
