Obituary of Mary Catherine McCutcheon
Mary Catherine McCutcheon, 88, of Howell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. She was born in Metuchen and had lived in Highland Park, Clark and Monroe before settling in Howell in 2003. Mary Catherine was the owner and a broker for Apex Real Estate Agency in Clark. She was the founder and member of the Christian Fellowship Organization at Concordia in Monroe, as well as a member of the Red Hat Society, the Clark Welcome Wagon Association, and a Girl Scout leader. Mary Catherine was family orientated and loved to travel.
She was predeceased by her husband, George McCutcheon, in 2005. Mary Catherine is survived by her children, Barbara Crawford and her husband, Richard, of Lacey, WA, Richard McCutcheon and his wife, Karen, of Clark, and Carol O'Brien of Howell; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Crawford, Matthew Crawford, Lisa Petro, Jessica O'Brien, Steven McCutcheon, Lauren McCutcheon, Kate O'Brien and Kerry O'Brien; great grandson, Finn O'Brien Scott; and sister, Grace Filippone of Edison.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 8:00 AM on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the funeral home for the procession to her 9:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Chapel, One North Main Street, Farmingdale.
