Obituary of Thomas Weber
Thomas R. Weber, 63, of Howell Township passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Tom was born in Lakewood and was a lifelong Howell Township resident. He retired as a custodian for the Freehold Regional School District working in the Manalapan, Howell and Freehold Borough Schools. Tom enjoyed collecting coins and was a member of the Ocean County Coin Club. He was an avid guitar player and loved good country music.
Tom was predeceased by a brother, Jack Megill. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Olga Weber; three sons, Ian Smith and his fiancée, Lisa Polhemus of Brick, Kyle Smith and his wife, AnnMarie of Brick, and Ryan Smith of Connecticut; five grandchildren, Emily, Madeline, Dakota, Sadie, and Carter; two brothers, Dick Megill of Jackson and Ronnie Weber of Jackson; a sister, Kathy Creter of Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
