Obituary of David Brady

David Patrick Brady, 46, of Freehold, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, July, 14, 2016 in Virginia Beach. He was born and raised in Jersey City, then settled to Freehold in November of 2002. David was a devoted dance dad for the Freehold Academy of Performing Arts. He was a soccer coach for youth athletic leagues in Freehold, Little League baseball coach in Jersey City, an avid sports enthusiast, and Yankees fan. In David's spare time he enjoyed bowling and owned the privilege of bowling two perfect games. David was an excellent cook for his family and a dedicated husband and father. His world revolved around his family and his two beautiful girls. David was predeceased by his father, Earl P. Brady, in 2000; and his grandmother, Mildred Pompeo, in 2016. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Danielle Brady, of Freehold; two children, Alyssa Sophia Brady, of Freehold, and Erin Patricia Brady, of Freehold; faithful canine companion, Prince Charming Brady; mother, Sandra Brady, and her partner Fred Biancone, of Lyndhurst; two brothers, Christopher Joseph Brady, and his wife Lenore, of Austin, TX, Michael Pompeo, and his wife Joan, of Chatham; a brother in law, Robert Brennan, of Michigan; a mother in law, Maryann Brennan, and her husband Robert, of Michigan; nieces and nephews, Christopher Anthony Brady, Jessica Pompeo, Anna Pompeo, and Donovan Brennan; uncle, Joseph Pompeo, and his wife Marilyn, of Forked River. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will be held at Holy Name City Cemetery, 823 West Side Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306.
