Condolences
For teaching us, guiding us, kickin our **** when we needed it, helping us and even bailing out some. You were the exact mother we needed, never doubted your LOVE even when you were exhausted to the bone. Thank you for giving us the best you knew and had. Just discovered a 'Wine and Roses' bush that will be planted in your honor.
Praying that God grants peace to the soul of your dearly departed
Sending our condolences and prayers to your family.
To all my siblings. When mom was little and even grown up, she told me often, that her mom used to say to her, "Be nice, Theresa," Our mom wanted one thing in life: for her kids to get along and be nice. In her honor, I know we will! Our mom loved each of us as we were and are. She spoke her mind, yelled, swore, beat us up when we needed our butts kicked, but she was fiercer than any lioness in our defense when any of us were down. She never left any of us. She worked hard to provide for us, even as adults. She never complained. We all learned to be creative, curious, resourceful, have a sense of humor and to live life our way. I have learned so much from my mom, especially these last 10 years and even more from the last two years. Have fun, mom. We love you.
My condolences to Theresa's family. It was certainly my honor to meet her. I will miss her wit and kind smile. Warm Regards, Maria
Our mother was a lady before her time. She was a liberated girl and woman. She did it her way, and each of us 9 lived by example. She was generous, taking care of other kids, opened our home to everyone. She taught us to be giving. She was fierce in her opinions. She made many tough decisions, yet always did what she thought was right. Yes, she was loud, could swear with the best of anyone. Yet, she listened well, and knew when not to say anything. She gave great advice. Everyone who knew her felt loved and knew they were dealing with an honest woman. She did not hold back.
Our mom wanted us to be nice. She wanted us to get along, no matter what. Our mother was a good lady. How many women can keep a home together with nine kids and not give up. She never, ever complained about anything. I know she has a big smile in her heart and she continues to watch the show down here.
