Condolences
So very sorry for your loss. Marie was a good woman and I have years of memories painting ceramics in the basement of her home with my friends and my family.
Marie and I were in Atlantic City, my phone rings and it's Marie asking for help. When I got to her she was tangeled in the cord of the slot machine with her scooter's wheels. She saw a security guard running over, she got nervous and told me to run, as she drove behind me and the machine started falling The security guard ran over and unplugged the machine from the wall as Marie and I escaped. Never was a dull moment while hanging with my Mother in law.
Grandma and I were always getting into trouble together like the time we went to this fancy seafood restaurant and we were there for quite a while. Meanwhile Grandpa Elly was in the car because he didn't feel like going in and when we finally got to the parking lot he threw a fit, People were staring so Grandma said "We don't actually know this man. We just voulunteereed to sign him out of the Old age home for the day." It was hilarious.
Marie was such a special lady and we always loved seeing her when we went over for parties in the summer. She was a very warm and loving person and always made us feel like we were part of the family. She will be missed by us and will be thought of with love often. RIP sweet lady <3
