Obituary of James Gambale
James F. Gambale, 76, of Freehold Township passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Wedgewood Gardens, Freehold Township. Born and raised in Brooklyn, James moved to Freehold in December of 1986. He was employed by Home Depot for 16 years. In true New York fashion, James cheered for his favorite teams, the NY Yankees and NY Rangers.
He was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Lucille Gambale in 2006. James is survived by his children, Laurie Guarraci and her husband, Andrew of Clermont, FL, James Gambale and his wife, Donna of Freehold, and Lisa Goldbetter and her husband, Jon of Freehold; seven grandchildren; and sisters, Nikki Lucivero of Freehold and Mary Lavendar of Marlboro.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 9:00 AM for procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum, 549 County Road 520, Marlboro.
