Obituary of Sandra Faucett Forfar
Sandra "Sandi" Lynn Faucett Forfar, 56, of Howell, NJ died, Saturday, February 7, 2009, after a brief and unexpected bout with cancer, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, NJ. Sandi was born in Annapolis, Maryland and had lived in Jacksonville Florida, Panama Canal Zone, Annapolis Maryland, Norfolk Virginia, Albuquerque New Mexico, Newark Delaware, Quantico Virginia, Pensacola Florida, LeJeune North Carolina, and Toledo Ohio before moving to Howell in 1983. She worked as an Accountant for the Tri Town News for over 5 years. Sandi attended Delaware Technical & Community College, and graduated from Coastal Carolina Community College with an AAS in Accounting. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Sandi enjoyed traveling and taking cruises, spending time with her family, music and singing, animals, bargain hunting, reading, and the Ocean and beaches. Her favorite experience was swimming with the dolphins.
She was predeceased by her father, Lieutenant Commander William A. Faucett. She is survived by her husband, Richard "Rick" Forfar of Howell, NJ; 2 Sons, Richard Michael Forfar, Jr. of Howell, NJ, and William Robert Forfar of Atlantic City, NJ; 1 grandson, Gavin Michael Forfar; mother, Phyllis Kathryn Faucett of Newark, Delaware; 1 sister, Michele K. Faucett of Newark, Delaware; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, R. Scott Faucett and his wife Katie of Chicago, Illinois, and William W. Faucett and his wife Donna of Eatonton, Georgia; nieces, Ashley R. Faucett, Katherine H. Faucett, Diana Forfar, Debbie Forfar, and Ashley Forman; nephews, Robert Cory Cave, William B. Faucett, Robert P. Forfar III, Cutter Forman; great niece, Amelia Cave; great nephew, Ryan Dunaway.
Visiting at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Rd. (Route 524) , Freehold Township on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at the Newark United Methodist Church, 69 East Main Street, Newark Delaware on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 1:00 PM.
