Obituary of Frances Jean Morrell
Frances Jean Morrell, 79, of Howell, beloved wife, mother, grandmother passed away at home on Thursday, August 25, 2016. She was born and raised in Marlboro, and lived in Matawan before settling in Howell 43 years ago. Jean was the past President of Griebling PTA and a Sunday School Teacher. She loved to travel and her favorite destination was Myrtle Beach. She was passionate about her family. Many people embraced her as their mother, grandmother and friend. Most importantly, her home was always open to all. Jean will be missed by those who loved her and remembered through beautiful sunsets and rainbows.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Ida Mae Cashill; her sister, Jacqueline Cashill; and her brother, Curtis Cashill. Jean is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Harvey F. Morrell, Jr.; her children, Sharon Amalfa and her husband, Michael; Linda Dugan and her husband, Glenn, Barbara Kudrick and her husband, Andrew, Jeffrey Morrell and his wife, Tammy, and Jennifer Morrell and Raymond Manfra; eleven grandchildren, Jaime and Gregory Player, Jeremy Amalfa, Stephanie and Dominic Mascolo, Scott, Kathleen, and Erica Dugan, Evan, Rosalena, and Anthony Morrell, Tyler Kudrick and Amanda Morrell; and siblings, Mary Jane Wert, Nancy Robbins, David Cashill and John Cashill; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM funeral service on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.
