Obituary of John Molnar
John Molnar, 53, of Howell Township passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Born in Perth Amboy, he was raised and had lived in Carteret. John lived in Freehold Township before moving to Howell in 1997. He was the owner of Molnar Industries, Farmingdale for over the past 30 years. John was a former Grand Knight for the Father Carey Counsel #1280, Carteret. He had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. John will be best remembered for helping anyone in need. He was a loving husband for 27 years and a father to two wonderful daughters.
He was predeceased by his father, Stephen Molnar and father-in-law, Anthony Tauriello. John is survived by his wife, Debbie Molnar of Howell; two daughters, Kelli and Alexa Molnar of Howell; mother-in-law, Joan Tauriello of Edison; sister-in-law, Michele Tauriello of Edison; brothers-in-law, Anthony Tauriello and his wife, Patricia of Blairsville, PA and Joseph Tauriello, of Island Heights; mother, Marjorie Molnar of Whiting; and brothers, Stephen Molnar of NJ, James Molnar of FL and Thomas Molnar of NJ; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful canine companion, Java.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 9:00 AM for procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale. Interment will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery & Mausoleum, Marlboro.
