Obituary of Elizabeth Van Shoick

Elizabeth E. Van Schoick, 88, of Howell, died Saturday, February 14, 2009, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune NJ. Mrs. Van Schoick was born in Lakewood, NJ and was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for the family farm, Van Schoick Farm, and was also a bus driver for Patterson and Applegate for 16 years. Mrs. Van Schoick was a member of the Squankum United Methodist Church, Howell, NJ. Predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Charles W. "Buster" Van Schoick Jr, and her son, Ronald Lee in 1943. She is survived by 2 daughters, Marie E. Miller of Howell, NJ, and Sandra M. Schrieber of Jackson, NJ; 1 son, Charles W. Van Schoick III of Howell, NJ; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Matilda Hulse of Bricktown, NJ. Visiting at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton Adelphia Road (Route 524 East) Freehold Township, NJ on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with her Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home with the Rev.
