Obituary of Martha Wogisch
Martha M. "Marty" Wogisch, 77, of Jackson, New Hampshire passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Maine Medical Center, Portland, Maine. Marty was raised in Maplewood, NJ. She met her husband, Bill at Columbia High School, Maplewood and they were married for fifty-four years. Growing up, Marty spent her summers in Jackson, New Hampshire, where she loved to hike, climb, and ski the White Mountains. She and Bill resided in Jackson for the past ten years. Marty was an accomplished violinist and also enjoyed playing the piano. She also loved reading, playing Scrabble and Mahjong, cooking, Broadway Musicals, and traveling. Marty loved her grandchildren who will always remember her as "Grandmarty". She and Bill played many games of Sequence, where they constantly and lovingly teased each other. Without a doubt, Marty was the happiest when she was with her family. She loved the beach in the summer and being in front of her roaring fireplace in the winter. Marty and Bill spent thirty years in Colts Neck raising their three girls on a farm and showing quarter horses in twenty-five states. Through the years, Marty and Bill had many, many horses, dogs, and cats that were always a part of their family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Percival and Gertrude Miller and her brother, Gordon Miller. Marty is survived by her husband, William Wogisch; three daughters, Abigail Thomason and her husband, David of Stafford, VA, Barbara Campbell and her husband, David of Bartlett, IL, Judith Eisenberg and her husband, Bruce of Saratoga Springs, NY; six grandchildren, Marshall and Darcy Thomason of Stafford, VA, William and Robert Reisig of Bartlett, IL, Gordon and Jamie Eisenberg of Saratoga Springs, NY; two sisters, her twin Abigail Andersen of Sea Girt, NJ and Carol Brown of Jackson, NH.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 1:00 PM funeral service on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Colts Neck Reformed Church, 72 Route 537, Colts Neck, NJ. Interment will follow in Atlantic Cemetery (Colts Neck Reformed Church Cemetery).
