Obituary of Madeline Cavallo
Madeline T. Cavallo, 73, of Belmar passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Wedgewood Gardens, Freehold Township. Madeline was born in Jersey City and was raised and had lived in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn. She moved to Belmar in 1997. Madeline was in operations for J.P. Morgan (Morgan Guarantee), NYC for over thirty years until her retirement in 1997. She loved to shop and enjoyed spending time on the beach. Madeline had a passion for travel. She traveled extensively, throughout Europe, the Caribbean and Florida.
Madeline is survived by her sister, Victoria Mayer of Freehold; her niece and nephews, Christine Ujobagy and her husband, Jason of Macungie, PA, William Mayer and his wife, Jacqueline of Sayreville, Patrick Mayer of Freehold and Michael Mayer and his wife, Virginia of Hoboken; four grand-nieces; and four grand-nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 9:00 AM for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Twp. Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
