Obituary of Joseph DeSimone
Joseph DeSimone, 55, of Freehold Township passed away at home on Saturday, September 3, 2016. He was born in Manhattan, raised in Mt. Vernon and Carmel, NY, and had lived in Meriden, CT and Bradley Beach before settling here in 1994. Joe worked in Information Technology for A T & T in Middletown for over 35 years. He enjoyed boating, fishing and crabbing, as well as space, rockets and science. Joe was a classic car enthusiast and owned a '68 Corvette and a '67 Firebird.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dominick and Josephine DeSimone. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathleen DeSimone; two daughters, Jessica "Jess" DeSimone and Rachael DeSimone; sister, Paula DeSimone of Virginia; brother-in-law, Jeff Bills and his wife, Christine, of Hurley, NY; three sisters-in-law, Donna Yancey and her husband, Merle, of Lowville, NY, Lisa Cornish and her husband, Charlie, of Heath, MA, and Beth Burchetta and her husband, John, of Wilmington, NC; brother-in-law, Mike Miele of Charlotte, NC; and nieces and nephews, Chelsea Beman, Nicholas, Ellie, Ruby and Donnie Bills, Michael, Alissa, and Kenny Yancey, Andy and Samantha Cornish; and Anthony and John Miele.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM.
