Obituary of Eugene Bruso
Eugene William Bruso, Sr., 91, of Toms River Passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Manchester Manor, Manchester. Born and raised in Fair Haven, VT, he moved to New Jersey in 1945 and worked as a dye maker at the Westinghouse Warehouse, Newark. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Louise Antonicello Bruso in 1989; his second wife, Gladys Johnson Aumann Bruso in 2016; and his son, Edward Bruso in 1992. Eugene in survived by his sons; Eugene W. Bruso, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia of Houston, TX, and John Bruso, Sr. and his wife, Barbara of Freehold; daughter, Margaret Russo and her husband, Pat of Jersey City; step daughter, Judy Aumann Warzecha and her husband, Walter Warzecha of South Amboy NJ; grandchildren, William Bruso, Aaron Bruso, Sara Wright, Elizabeth Alvardo, Jaquline Strang, Donna Sommo, Patrick Russo, John Bruso, Jr., and Marybeth Bruso; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM followed by the procession to his 11:00 AM Graveside Service in Brig.
