Obituary of Frederick William Hinchcliff
Frederick W. Hinchcliff, 56, of Freehold Township, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at home with his family by his side. He was born in Flushing, Queens and lived in Medfield, MA, before moving to Freehold Township in 1967. Frederick attended Freehold Township High School and graduated from The Vershire School in Vermont in 1978. He worked in home improvement lending and sales in Freehold for five years, as well as, for Brock Farms and Security Transfer-Wheaton Van Lines. Frederick belonged to the Overcomers in Christ at First Assembly of God Church. In his spare time, he loved to fish, study math, and do stock investing. Frederick was a generous man and a good friend to all who knew him. He was affectionate and loved his family deeply.
He was predeceased by his father, Frederick C. Hinchcliff, in 2015. Frederick is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Cynthia Hinchcliff, of Freehold Township; his mother, Mary Hinchcliff, of Freehold Township; four sisters, Dorothy Hinchcliff Goodrich, and her husband, Jerry, of Oakhurst, Lydia Bourgeois of Oakhurst, Maria Hinchcliff, and her husband, Paul Kenworthy, of Cream Ridge, and Alison Hinchcliff of Freehold Township; nieces and nephews, Alexandria Bourgeois, Emily Perry, Clayton Perry, and Christopher Goodrich; step-daughters, Lucrecia Pacheco and her husband, Ricardo, and Bridget Dowlat; and step-grandchildren, Niedia Rachel Pacheco and Leon Dowlat.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 9:00 AM for Frederick's 9:30 AM Funeral Service at First Assembly of God Church, 272 Jackson Mills Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, 169 W Main Street, Freehold, 07728. Memorial contributions in Frederick's name can be made to First Assembly of God Church.
