Obituary of Norma Marks
Norma L. Marks, 92, of Howell, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at home. Mrs. Marks was born in Long Branch and moved to The Villages, Howell in 1973. She was a budget analyst for the U.S. Government, Fort Monmouth from 1942 until her retirement in 1970. She was a member, past president and was active in scheduling and running Atlantic City trips for the Howell Senior Center. She was a member of the Theater Club, CentraState Hospital Auxiliary, The Women's Club and AARP, all of The Villages, Howell. Norma loved to dance.
She was predeceased by her husband, David, in 1999; and her brother, Joseph Landa, in 1998. Surviving are a stepson, Ira L. Marks of Lawrenceville; a stepdaughter, Enid R. Greenfogel of Randolph; and four step-grandchildren, Stephanie, Andrew, Alana, and Mark.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 at Temple of Israel Mausoleum in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
