My grandfather was an amazing man. He had a heart of gold and everyone that met him loved him dearly. He made everyone laugh and smile. I will never forget when i was younger i played "store" and he would pretend to be a customer and always asked if we sold chopped meat. He would always make me laugh. He would ask us to draw pictures of him thinking, and draw pictures of him with his suspenders underneath his shirt lol. he was so funny! I am grateful to have spent the last 28 years with him, and i am so grateful he was able to be there during the most important day of my life, my wedding day.

It broke my heart to lose you, but you did not go alone. A part of me went with you, the day god took you home. If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches make a lane, i would walk my way to heaven, and bring you back again. In life we all loved you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place, noone can ever fill. How lucky am i to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. I love you grandfather and i will never stop missing you.
