Obituary of Joseph Bonomolo
Joseph J. Bonomolo, 96, of Freehold passed away at home on Friday, October 21, 2016. He was born in New York City and had lived in the Iselin and then Florida before settling in Freehold in 1998. Joseph was a tool & die maker for American Flange & Manufacturing Co., Linden until his retirement in 1979. Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
He was predeceased by his wife, Alice Bonomolo; brothers, Dominic Bonomolo and Frank Bonomolo; and sisters, Ann Cacavio and Josephine Dombrowski. Joseph is survived by his children, Robert Bonomolo and his wife, Marie of West Caldwell, Thomas Bonomolo and his wife, Carol Smith of Milltown; and daughter, Peggy Stofik and her husband, Joseph of Freehold; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM.
