Condolences
Dear Doreen, I was so sorry to hear about Marty. I read about it in the Bishop Kearney Bulletin. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My sincerest condolences. Sincerely, Mary Fowler (Albanese)
To Marty's Family - I was very sorry to hear of my classmate's passing. We did not stay in touch after graduation, but I'll always remember how "involved" he was during our years at Xaverian. At graduation, he received the award for school service and rightfully so. I see that he continued to contribute his time, talents, and energy to support wholesome activities for his own children and countless others. He will certainly be missed by everyone. Rest in peace, my friend. Bob Thoelen, Enfield, CT
Dear Doreen, Jonathan and Andrew - My deepest simpathy for you all. I wish I could take some of the pain away. As you know I met Marty at Wausau; he was a friend, a mentor and like a father to me. My most prized memories are our trips to Florida for golf and hooligans with Bill and Stephen. I will miss him dearly. Marty was simply the best... Mark -
To: The Family of Martin Koenigsamen Please accept my sincere sympathies on the loss of your loved one Martin. While I never had the pleasure of meeting him, I know he was a wonderful person, because he comes from a strong, wonderful family. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Sincerely, Karen Gutloff
Doreen, I enjoyed getting to meet Martin at different Wausau Signature Agency Meetings. My Family and I will be praying for you and your Family during this Time. Jim Webster Knoxville, TN
Dear Doreen and family, Tom and I were very sorry to hear about Marty. Even though we haven't seen the two of you for a long time, we have very fond memories of being together on Wausau outings. Tom can recall special nicknames Marty gave to him and Mike Spaude. Marty was one of those guys that you just can't help like. He was always so nice to us. Tom remembers a lot of dreams that Martin had and it is very sad for both of us to know he is no longer with you. It is our faith though, that helps us get through these tough times, knowing he is in a better place forever and that someday we will be together again with no more suffering. We don't know what life was like for Martin close to his passing, but it is our hope that it was easy for him. Our prayers are with you Doreen and your boys too! He was quite a guy and you were blessed to have him in your life. So were we. Sincerely, Jane and Tom Cain P.S. We have misplaced your address and if you would like to correspond with us, we welcome it! Our new address is 4704 Blackstock Road, Sheboygan, WI 53083
Martin was simply the best. His love and friendship will be missed by all of us.
Doreen, Jonathan, Andrew and the Koenigsamen and Loftus Families, Carol and I and the entire Lanza family share your sorrow and grief and want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Marty's love of life was only exceeded by his love of family and friends. We are better people because of him. Through our faith and his faith, we have comfort in knowing that Marty is in a place of eternal peace and joy...With love, Andy
Doreen,Jonathan and Andrew, Martin was a wonderful husband and father. Although wildly successful in business, my admiration was his love for all of you. He touched me in many ways and will always be a person I respected and learned much from. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May Martin be at peace in all of eternity. Mark
Dear Doreen, Martin always told me you were his "better half." There was always a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face whenever he talked about you. It was very clear how much he loved you. For the 12 years that I knew Martin, he was constant in his devotion to you...a real love story! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your boys in this time of sadness. God bless you all!
Doreen, My brother and I are so sorry for your loss. Martin was an amazing man and we always enjoyed seeing him at our parents house. He always had a funny story or a kind word to share. He is in a better place now and we will always remember him fondly. Sincerely Ian and Chris Farruggio
I have known Martin for 19 years as his colleague and good personal friend. His courage and strength through his illness was remarkable. He will be missed dearly by all that were fortunate to have known him. No matter what the situation, Martin could always put a smile on people's faces and make them laugh. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Koenigsamen family.
