Obituary of Evelyn Wolff

Evelyn Haggren Wolff, 86, of Howell passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Born and raised in New York City, she had lived in Livingston, where she raised her family, before moving to Jackson in 2002 where she resided for 12 years. Evelyn loved celebrating special occasions with her friends and family. A warm and welcoming hostess, there was always an extra place at her table. She will be remembered for her home cooking, delicious pies, knitting and sewing, and for being a mother to all. She was predeceased by her brother, David E. Haggren in 1996. Evelyn is survived by her brother, Harry G. Haggren of Howell; her children, William Wolff and his wife, Rebecca Wolff of Howell, Nancy Wolff and her husband, Jack Gernsheimer of Bernville, PA, Carol Wolff Fallon and her husband, John F. Fallon, Jr. of East Greenwich, RI, and Suzanne Wolff and her boyfriend, Kenneth Wicenski of Howell; her six grandchildren, David Trethewey, Emily Trethewey, William Wolff, James Wolff, Claire Fallon and Conor Fallon. A celebration of Evelyn's life will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with her memorial service to take place at 2:30 PM.
