Obituary of Deidre Wheeler
Deidre Wheeler, 64, of Freehold, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Wheeler grew up in the Midwest and moved to Fair Haven in 1960. She was a graduate of Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, and received her degree in Social work from Kean College. She worked at the John L. Montgomery Care Center in Freehold, and "180 Inc." She was a kind, Caring individual who had a great interest in art and a love for swimming and the beach.
Surviving are a son, Jim Wheeler and his wife Leslie Wright of Boston, Mass.; a daughter, Lynn, at home; her mother, E. Virginia Tynan of Ft. Myers, Fla.; two sisters, Joyce Winberry of Avon, and Vivian Posey of Ft. Myers, Fla.; a brother, Jim Tynan of Highlands; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2009 at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Rd. (Route 524), Freehold Township, followed by her Funeral Mass at noon at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
