Obituary of Kathryn Coakley

Kathryn M. Coakley, 93 of Howell passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 25, 2016. She was born in South Amboy and had lived in the Morgan section of Sayreville before moving to Howell 29 years ago. Kathryn was a member of the Howell Historical Society for many years. Kathryn was predeceased by her husband Joseph F. Coakley, Sr. in 2005. She is survived by her son Joseph M. Coakley and his wife Susan, of Sayreville; three daughters, Kathryn Moskal and her husband Anthony, of Sayreville, Janet Coakley of Howell, and Dorothy Curry and her husband John, of Barryville, NY; five grandchildren, Nicole Moskal, Joseph M. Coakley Jr., and Morgan, Adam, and Megan Curry; three great-grandchildren, Landon, Aden and Alexis; and her lifelong friend Alice Coman of Sayreville. She was devoted to her family. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery, 439 S. Pine Ave, South Amboy.
