Obituary of Debra Ann Bottega
Debra Ann Bottega, 54, of Old Bridge formerly of Freehold Township passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Saturday, November 26, 2016. Debra was born in Westchester, NY and was raised in Brooklyn. She had lived on Staten Island and in South River and East Brunswick before settling to Freehold Township in 2000. Debra moved to Old Bridge this year. She was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine and taught CCD. Debra believed in retail therapy but her hobby was being a mom.
Debra is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Philip Bottega; two sons, Christopher Bottega of Jersey City and Gregory Bottega of Boca Raton, FL; her mother, Dorothy Tempera of Fort Myers, FL; siblings, Dennis Tempera of Fort Myers, FL, Mario Tempera and his wife, Joanne of Spotswood, and Diane Wiseman and her husband, Ron of Fort Myers; In-laws, John and Margaret Bottega of Old Bridge; a brother-in-law, John A. Bottega and his wife, Valerie of Monmouth Junction; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 9:00 AM for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum, Marlboro. For those who desire, memorial contributions in Debra's name may be made to Susan G.
