Obituary of Carolee Brenner
Carolee D. Brenner, 69, of Monroe passed away at home with her family by her side on Sunday, December 4, 2016. She was born in Miami, FL, raised in Brooklyn, NY and Georgia, and had lived in Queens and Maine prior to settling in New Jersey in the early 90s. Carolee dedicated her entire life to her family, and was a beautiful role model for her children and grandchildren. She had a love for furniture refinishing, antiquing and gardening and also enjoyed reading.
She was predeceased by her father, Clarence Day in 1985. Carolee is survived by her children, Scott Allen and his girlfriend, Karen Conde of Queens; KimLee Allen of Queens, Sarah Ligo and her husband, Jeffrey of Farmingdale, Shaina Brenner and her boyfriend, Jose Santiago of Jamesburg, Samantha Awadallah and her husband, Ahmed of North Brunswick, David Brenner of East Brunswick, and Daniel Brenner of Monroe; seven grandchildren, Aden, Jeffrey, Autumn, Nate, Ally, Eddie and Ben; her mother, Ann Hettrich; and her ex-husband, Charles Brenner of Brooklyn.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with her funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Carolee's name may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 7 MIll Brook Road, Wilton, NH 03086.
