Obituary of Catherine Catrini

Catherine Catrini, 97, of Jackson passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016. She was born in Bridgeport, CT, and raised in New York City prior to settling in Howell in 1998. Catherine loved cooking for her family, and her favorite hobbies were card games and lottery tickets. She will always be remembered by how she taught everyone in her family how to love. Catherine was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Nick "Cono" Catrini in 2006. She is survived by four children, Vincent Catrini and his wife, Kathleen of Venice, FL, Frank Catrini and his wife, Marie of North Bergen; C. Nick Catrini and his wife, Susan of Monroe, and Marie Corbo and her husband, John of Manhattan; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two brothers, John DeMartino of Florida, and Joseph DeMartino of Howell. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 9:30 AM for the procession to her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale. Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery. Memorial donations in Catherine's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
