Obituary of James Kemmerer

James C. Kemmerer, 71, Tinton Falls, N.J., died in his home. Mr. Kemmerer was born in Fountain Hill, Pa., and had lived in Coopersburg, Pa., and Freehold Twp. before moving to Tinton Falls, N.J. He was the son of the late Albert and Florence (Stahler) Kemmerer. He was a former member of the Friedensville Lutheran Church, Friedensville, Pa. Mr. Kemmerer was a Air Force Veteran serving 8 years during Vietnam. In retirement, he happily spent his time active at Seabrook Retirement Community, Tinton Falls, N.J. Mr. Kemmerer was a computer support specialist with Unisys, Blue Bell, Pa. for 30 years retiring in 1999. He was predeceased by a son, Michael, and his sister, Shirley Kemmerer Tuomela. Survivors: Wife, Jane A. Leiby Kemmerer of Tinton Falls, N.J.; son and his wife, Alan and Angie Kemmerer of Spring, Texas; daughter, Donna Eastman of Freehold, N.J.; four grandchildren, Zachariah Schmoyer, Brett Eastman, Nadja Polston and Chris Polston; brother, Eugene Kemmerer of Coopersburg. Services: Visiting in the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold, N.J. on Thursday, March 19, 2009, from 2-4 p.m. and on Friday, March 20, 2009, from 11 a.m. to noon in the Friedens Lutheran Church, Route 378, Friedensville, with his funeral service to follow at noon in the church with Pastor Dennis J.
