Condolences
We are so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We have very fond memories of time with him through the years. Our sympathies and prayers go out to the family.
Barbara Lynn and family, We are all so saddened to hear about Bob's passing. Such an honorable and friendly man with the beautiful family to prove it. Always so welcoming and full of stories when we would get together and the perfect ambassador to the Burke and Rottkamp clan when we were there. You are in our prayers as well as those of the St Pius V church community of Cohocton. With love and prayers from all of your "upstate" cousins, Jim and Heather Feely

It is so hard to believe my beloved dad is gone!He was such a great father. The years growing up on Traymore were filled with so many great memories that I will cherish forever! My dad had an unconditional love, he always found the best in everybody. The only consolation I have is that you are not suffering anymore! I know you have a high place in heaven, you went right through the gates. I will look after mommy ,the road is long ahead!!Please look down on us and give us strength to go on without you, it feels so empty inside!!
So sorry about Bob's passing. he was such a wonderful person. The number of people that came to his viewing are proof of what kind of man he was. His beautiful family is another tribute to him. God bless and give his family comfort.
I was very sad to hear from my Mom about Bob. My most heartfelt condolences to my cousins Barbara Lynn, Lori, Bobby, Sam and Joey.
It's been many years since my fire company days but Bob was one of my favorite guys in the world. He always took us young guys under his wing and at the same time busting our chops. My time with him on the softball field brings a smile and chuckle of the fun he brought to all of us. Your all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.. Doug Campbell
Words can not express our deepest sympathy, all our love always, we are here if you need us.41
Barbara, Lori, Bobby, Sam, Joey and your entire families, We wish we could be with you during this sad time. Bob will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him over the years as our entire family has. Your family and home has been a second home to all our children. Many an evening we would spend in the barn repairing a slew of snowmobiles. I will especially miss Bob's never ending offer whenever our paths crossed in the neighborhood of "Have time for a cup of coffee"? Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you.
We are so sorry to hear about your father. He was a wonderful man who gave everything to everybody. He will never be forgotten. He always made you feel comfortable and made you laugh. He is now an angel and working for God. Our heart felt sympathy to you and your family
My condolences to Barbara and all of the family during this difficult time. Try to keep the great memories over the years from here on out as he will always be with you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. With love, Rachel, Christopher, Maria and Michael
My husband Bob and I are saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Barbara Lynn, you and the Nagy and Rottkamp families are in our prayers. Love, Patty
Bob was a great - GREAT - 'uncle' to have while growing up. I have many fond memories of his "great big personality" showing up and being around at family gatherings, holidays and more. His memory still serves as a superb example of what an outstanding family-person, family-friend, neighbor and community leader is. Thanks to those like him for so much generosity and self-sacrifice which has helped make the world a better place. "Bob, thank you for that example - you were always looked up to and you will be missed by many!"
I was so so sad when Chris told me of Bob's passing. Among Declan's first words was the phrase "Hey Bob!" which he would start saying the moment he and Chris stepped foot on Traymore when walking the neighborhood. Now, he frequently asks to go for walks at random times day and night. When we ask where he would like to go he says "see Bob and Barb and Maggie". We will most certainly miss him. Thinking of you all. Jennifer, Chris, and Declan
Our deepest sympathies and condolences to the entire Nagy family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bobby was a great fun loving spirit that will live on in all of you. May God bless you all with comfort and healing.
My brother Bob was a person who would always put others first even when it short changed himself. He would tell me to cool it and leave it be when he got screwed by a "so called friend".I WOULD START YELLING and he would tell me to let it go. I don't need it or want it, let them have it. That was the great man he was. If you needed help then call Bob, if you needed a friend its him you can call. A man who worked all night, got out of work and stopped at the firehouse. The chief would ask him run truck here or there and he never said no I can't . He was person not appreciated until he was gone. The first to respond to a call for help from family, friend, and strangers with no questions asked.
His true gift was his willingness to forgive anybody, except Hillary, A person who gave more to others then himself. I would tell him to stop letting people get by with things and he would say he say to me, they need it more. He was nominated for chief the same year I was but my brother pulled his name out so not to run against me. He was in the company for 15 years more than me. That's the man he was. Always putting others first. If you knew him, he was a friend for life, a true hero, and a great family man.
Now when I start yelling about something a little voice will say cool it, I'll say "OK, Bob you are right."
I will always love you and never forget you. I promise to always be there for your family .
Your brother, Mike
Our deepest sympathies...he will be missed as he was a great person, hard worker, loving father and excellent softball player. We have all of you in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

SO sorry for Bob's passing. I worked with and considered Bob a wonderful person and friend ( we had a great time @ Nestles, and we did a little work too!) Please accept our condolences Richard and Linda Kochinski
My heart hurts so much for his family. I loved my cousin Bobby so much. I remember all my childhood him being there. Such a wonderful man. And I remember when my mom introduced him to his wife Barbara. They were a match made in heaven. He was the most giving person and such a great hugger. He would give the best bear hugs when I was a child up to when I became an adult. Always so kind hearted. My heart goes out to Barbara and his children and grandchildren. I know what loss you feel. His memory will live on in this huge family that we have . I will never forget you Bobby. Rest in Peace my dear cousin. All my love , Toni.
I cannot begin to convey how heartbroken we are over the loss of "Bobby Nagy".He was a wonderful man full of love and laughter. Many of my childhood memories are tied to him and his brother. He will live on in the hearts of all whose lives he has touched. Love Vicky & Guy
I feel like I knew Bob almost my whole life since my father Bill and his dad Bob Sr. were hunting buddies from before I can remember. Bob was my partner for 10 years at Nestle on the 3rd shift then we worked together another 20 years before I retired. He was always the first to offer help if anyone needed it. The Nagy family lost a good man. Rest in peace Bob and my condolences to the whole family.
The Nagy family has suffered another horrible loss. Uncle Bob was a wonderful man. I am so very sorry for his family and friends. My prayers go out to you.
Words cannot express how deeply saddened we all are. Our most sincerest condolences to Aunt Barb, Lori & Jim, Bobby & Dawn, Sam & Tracy, Joey & Marissa and all of the grandchildren, extended family and beloved friends. Uncle Bob was an extraordinary person! A loving and caring family man. A person who would do anything for anybody. He was loyal to those in his life and welcoming to all. Uncle Bob's love for his parents (Marie & Bob) and his brother (Mike Sr.) was never-ending, but the great love he shared with his wife Aunt Barb is unmatched. He had an incredible sense of humor and loved to rib everyone with witty banter and welcomed any and all comebacks to fuel his next joke. I still to this day laugh to myself at his constant calling me "his nephew JEB from the AMISH country" for months when I was a late teen trying to grow some facial hair. Uncle Bob has left a legacy here on earth that will carry on with his loved ones in his name. We believe he had a big welcoming party in heaven with my mom (Linda), Nanny & Poppy Rottkamp (Bert & Minnie), Nanny & Poppy Nagy (Marie & Bob)...and maybe even Poppy's many hunting dogs. We hope everyone can find some comfort in a few of these thoughts as we all mourn together. We love you "Unc", "Blue" and the best of all "BIG FRIENDLY"!
I was blessed to know Mr. Nagy for the past fifteen years and always appreciated his warm hug and smile. he always greeted you with a "hey dear ". He always asked about my children and James and took time out of his day to show my son Jack fire trucks at the firehouse. he lifted him out of numerous trucks and loved every minute of seeing a young boy excited over the same things he loved. He was a wonderful man whom will truly be missed. Rest in peace Mr. Nagy❤️
I was very sorry to hear this news. I worked with Bob at Nestle for 17 years. He was always very nice to me and very kind. A true gentleman. I live in Florida now so I won't be able to attend the services. I will pray for your family. Mi know you have a good seat in heaven. Rest in peace friend. Reggie
