Obituary of Kenneth Marbach
Kenneth "Ken" Marbach, 86, of Freehold Township passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Wedgwood Gardens, Freehold Township. He was born and was a life-long resident of Rahway before moving to Freehold Township in 2014 with his wife. Ken loved to tinker. He enjoyed working on cars and model trains. A veteran, Ken proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as child through his adult life at Eddie's Texaco Station, Main Street, Rahway and was a teamster, Local 866, Tenneco Oil, Port Newark for 39 years. Ken will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and adoring grandfather and great-grandfather.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marian Marbach of Freehold Township; two daughters, Linda Parducci and her husband, David of Palmyra, PA, and Cindy Guarino and her husband, Dr. Lawrence of Freehold Township; two granddaughters, Tiffany Mullins and her husband, Matthew of PA, and Melanie Wolfe and her husband, Andrew of PA; and four great-grandchildren, Hailey, Emmalee, Landon and Logan.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rahway Cemetery, Rahway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ken's name may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
