Obituary of Norma Beharrysingh
Norma Beharrysingh, 81, of Piscataway passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 at The Pavillions at Forrestal Health & Rehab Center. Norma was born in Trinidad and lived in Old Bridge, NJ, Groton, Connecticut, Queens, New York and California before returning to Trinidad. She moved to Piscataway, NJ. in the nineties, then to South Carolina, where she lived for five years before returning to Piscataway. Norma recently moved to The Pavilions in Princeton, where she lived at the time of her death. She attended St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Jackson. Norma was a nurse's assistant and a certified home health aide working for VNA of Central Jersey retiring 10 years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Keith Beharrysingh; and her mom, Olive Brown. Surviving are four children, her first born son, Trevor Powell of Greenville, SC, her first born daughter, Belinda Flannigan of Piscataway, her third born, Sabrina Samuel of Howell and her last born, Roger Beharrysingh of Greenville, SC.; a legacy of eight grandchildren, Curtis, Ann, Mary Ann, Matthew, Anna, Maryanne, Tracey and Sarah; two brothers, Wilfred of Brooklyn and Alfred of Trinidad; and two sisters, Margaret of Grenada and Bernadette of Great Britain.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM with her funeral service immediately following at 6:00 PM.
