Obituary of Michael Laricy

Michael N. Laricy, 49, Freehold Township passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Born in South Amboy, Mike was a lifelong resident of Freehold Township. A graduate of the Freehold Township High School Class of 1987 and Kean University Class of 1991, he played football for both schools. An athlete at heart, he taught his children, and all the other kids in the neighborhood, sports and sportsmanship. Mike coached all of his children's teams in Freehold Township Recreation and Pop Warner. He was a Senior Executive Sales Manager for MANE Inc., Milford, OH. Known for entertaining, he was a big jokester, and a music enthusiast. Mike had a power presence, and was an amazing man whose true passion was for his children and his wife. He possessed a personality larger than life and lived by the motto "the first one to go to a party and the last one to leave". Mike was predeceased by his father, Robert N. Laricy in 1993. He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Jeannine Bosco Laricy; five children, Shane, Sabrina, Patrick, Cassandra and Jillian; his mother, Edith Laricy of Freehold Township; sisters, Denise Bartolomei and her husband, Joseph of Freehold Township, Annette Cervenak and her husband, Matt of Weirton, WV, and Christine DiGiandomenico and her husband, Jimmy of Charleston, SC; mother-in-law, Paula Bosco of Freehold Township; sister-in-law, Anne Caponegro and her husband, Scott of Freehold Township; brother-in-law, Joseph Bosco and his wife, Christine of Marlboro; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.
