Here I am 63 years old and have to share the influence Claus had on me personnally. Some may think of this as trivial but its something that has stayed with me for almost 35 years and will forever.
It was around 1985 and BMW was sending the BMW Service guys to Germany for our first time. We were all in our late 20's - mid 30's. We had a staff meeting with Claus who during the meeting wanted us to learn proper etiquette as it pertained to "eating" in Germany, more specifically how to hold a knife and fork, use the knife and fork and where to place them when finished and signal the meal was complete. Little did I know at the time but this would stick with me throughout my career and time living in Germany, I will never forgot that little gesture of knowledge Claus bestowed upon me. ...ALL good memories. Thank you Claus.
