Obituary of Mary Wilbur
Mary I. Wilbur, 91, of Howell passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Wedgwood Gardens, Freehold. She was born in Bordentown and lived in Howell since 1959. During World War II, Mary was employed as a parts assembler (a Rosie the Riveter) at Eastern Aircraft, Trenton. She then worked for Steve's Burger Chef, Howell and W.T. Grant Co., Lakewood until her retirement. Mary also volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Wesley G. Wilbur, Jr., in 1993. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Larkin of Howell and Mary Miner and her husband, John of Howell; her granddaughter, Melissa Schermerhorn and her husband, Ken of Toms River; and a sister, Stella Maglione of Trenton.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C.
